Electrifly-In’s contest occurs every year at the end of the summer in Berne, Switzerland. Rules are simple : you have to land in Berne with an electric aircraft. The organizing team will then look where you took off, calculate the distance in straight line, and the one which has the greatest distance wins.

Jean-Baptiste Loiselet onboard the Sol.Ex. wins the 1st place in 2023, 2024 & 2025 while having the smallest distance among everybody. His secret ? be alone in his category !

There are 3 categories : electric motorplanes, electric gliders, and hybrid aircraifts. And the organizing team decided to put the Sol.Ex. in bybrid class as no other aircraft could go there.

While the performance realized here is insignificant, the result of the contest is noteworthy : it shows again that the solar glider is a pioneering aircraft.
