SolarStratos is another aeronautic adventure led by the swiss explorer Raphaël Domjan. In 2025, Jean-Baptiste – thanks to his experience with the Sol.Ex. – assisted Raphaël’s team in an altitude world record attempt. Which was successfully made on the 12th of August 2025 !

Aside the sport, technology and human sides, this adventure puts on the limelight the benefits of combining pure soaring flight with motorized phases. A discipline that Raphaël and Jean-Baptiste are one of the first to explore. Explanations in this video (in french, sorry…) :
